Prison primary care services 17/07/09
Oxfordshire PCT is seeking a provider/providers to deliver high quality primary medical services (including assessment of newly received prisoners requiring treatment for substance misuse) to the prison population at Bullingdon Community Prison (as soon as possible) and Huntercombe Young Offenders Institution (by 1st April 2010). The tender will be split into two lots, one for the provision of services for Bullingdon Prison (total contract value over three years: £750,000 - £960,000) and one for the provision of services for Huntercombe Young Offenders Institution (total contract value over three years: £210,000 - £240,000). Organisations may submit bids to provide one or both of the services. Please note that, as this is an existing service, TUPE regulations may apply.

NHS Primary Medical Care and related services 29/06/09
NHS West Essex, working with the East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub (EoE CPH), is inviting expressions of interest for the provision of primary medical care services in Nazeing, a rural setting in, Essex.
The existing practice currently has approximately 2,000 patients registered and has the potential to significantly grow and expand the services. Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified and experienced healthcare providers, including GPs, social enterprise, third sector organisations, independent sector and others to provide a range of primary medical care services to the local population.

NHS Plymouth Breast Screening Service 18/06/2009
The Breast Screening service in NHS Plymouth is due for renewal in April 2010. The lead/co-ordinating Commissioner are NHS Plymouth. The Commissioners are exploring the possibilities for provision, from either the Independent Sector or from within the NHS service, for the area covering the Plymouth Health Community which includes parts of north and east Cornwall and the South Hams of Devon.
This tender is being conducted using electronic means using the Internet. Companies should register their interest and respond to the contract notice using the link to the e-tendering portal https://tactica.belmin.com
Potential suppliers are required to click on the current opportunities button on the e-tendering site to view details of this procurement and then use the online registration link to enter their company details. Within the form to register company details, there is a “Test” button to verify the identified e-mail address. It is strongly recommended that this is used, to ensure validity and effectiveness of the link registered for messages to/from the e-tendering site.
Once the registration screen has been completed and an e-mail confirming successful registration of the company has been received from Tactica, suppliers can continue to follow the on screen prompts to register an expression of interest in any particular tender. Central Croydon Integrated GP Led Health Centre 16/06/2009
NHS Croydon invites Expressions of Interest from all suitably qualified and experienced healthcare providers (including General Practitioners, social enterprise / third sector organisations and other providers) to provide a comprehensive and extended range of primary care medical services from a facility procured by NHS Croydon from April 1st 2010.
The Central Croydon Integrated GP Led Health Centre will offer bookable and walk-in access to both registered and unregistered patients. The successful provider will be expected to provide the administrative management of the whole facility which will include community health, pharmacy and other primary care services (which may be provided by others). The number of patients registered at the GPLHC is expected to grow to a list size of 6000 patients by April 2015.

TB Diagnostic Screening Service 11/06/2009
Wandsworth Teaching PCT invites Expressions of Interest from all suitably qualified and experienced healthcare providers (including general practitioners, social enterprise / third sector organisations and other providers) to provide a TB Diagnostic Screening Service.The key requirements of the TB Diagnostic Screening Service are as follows:
- suitable accommodation and network links for the digital x-ray reading/reporting service,
- sufficient resources to read to a high standard up to 125-175 x-rays per day,
- sufficient resources to report back all x-ray results to the originating prisons within 24 hours.
The contract will be awarded for an initial period of 3 years, and, subject to satisfactory performance and review against key performance indicators, may be extended for a further 2 years.

Adult Prison Mental Health Services 08/06/2009
NHS Medway is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for interested parties to contribute to the provision of a comprehensive Adult Mental Health Service to the adult prison population of Kent and Medway.
Key objectives of the service are to provide timely access to comprehensive, ‘End to End’ mental health services that are grounded in evidence based practice and reflect equivalence to those services available in the community. These services will provide access to primary, secondary, in-patient and daytime setting mental health resources that incorporate access to specialist expertise – particularly in Personality Disorder, Dual Diagnosis and Learning Disability.
