‘Big five’ form new trade body
The UK’s top five hospital groups have joined forces under a new trade body umbrella in a bid to build an effective relationship with the government and regulators at a time of unprecedented change in the health service.
H5 Private Healthcare Alliance is comprised of General Healthcare Group (GHG), HCA International, Nuffield Health, Ramsay Health Care and Spire Healthcare, which collectively represent the interests of over 200 hospitals in the UK. The organisation, which officially launches in September, is headed up by consultant and former Spire Healthcare commercial director Richard Jones, who will be joined on the board by Adrian Fawcett, Mike Neeb, David Mobbs, Jill Watts and Rob Wise.
